Maksims (Max) Kazijevs, 24 YOA started playing tennis at 6. He came to the US from Latvia to study and play D1 tennis at Tennessee State University. After a successful college tennis career which culminated in a Master's degree in Computer Science, Max landed a job in Florida, marking the start of his career in healthcare IT.  After relocating from Tennessee in mid-2023, Max began to visit local parks to learn pickleball for fun; competition was not his goal. However, he quickly advanced and found like-minded players all with pickleball ambitions. His goal for 2024 is to practice hard, evolve consistently, and increase his participation in local tournaments to further progress in the sport. Our goal is him to play amongst the best-of-the-best in the pro leagues.
